Introduction: Biowar Against the Future

History will remember COVID-19 as more than a pandemic. It was a battlefield. And for those who look beyond headlines, it was the opening salvo of a covert war—unleashed not by nature, but by empire. This wasn’t just a public health emergency. It was a strategic biowarfare campaign, orchestrated by the U.S. imperial state to derail China’s ascent and destroy the revolutionary model that still haunts Western capital: the legacy of 1949.

We do not offer this as speculation. We offer it as a historically grounded indictment. This was a mandemic—a man-made crisis conceived in military labs, carried out under the fog of “global emergency,” and weaponized to advance a very specific geopolitical mission: to cripple the socialist foundation of modern China and abort the emergence of a multipolar world. This wasn’t about “public safety.” It was about imperial survival.

The virus, we argue, was developed inside the U.S. Army’s Fort Detrick bioweapons facility—an institution with a long, dirty history of experimentation, leaks, and silence. In 2019, the lab was suddenly shut down by the CDC for failing to contain deadly pathogens. Anthrax. Ebola. Unknown agents. The press gave it a few paragraphs. No real questions asked. Just weeks later, U.S. military athletes—some from Fort Detrick—flew to Wuhan for the World Military Games. Within days, COVID-like symptoms appeared. Some were hospitalized. None were tested. And then they flew home.

Weeks later, the first outbreak was declared in Wuhan. The coincidence is too lethal to be dismissed. The Chinese Revolution—already under siege from sanctions, hybrid war, and disinformation—was now ground zero for a new kind of war: biological containment masquerading as random catastrophe.

Understand the logic: by triggering a pandemic in China, the U.S. aimed to destabilize the world’s second-largest economy, delegitimize its governance model, and sever the confidence of the Global South in the Chinese-led alternative to empire. The West wasn’t just afraid of China’s trade dominance or Huawei’s 5G networks. It feared the revolutionary legacy that gave birth to all of it—the Communist Party of China, the anti-colonial spirit of the Chinese people, and the persistent threat that socialism can work.

COVID-19 was the scalpel meant to carve that legacy out of history. This was counterinsurgency at planetary scale. The U.S. couldn’t bomb Beijing or sanction 1.4 billion people into collapse. But a virus? A perfectly timed outbreak? That could shut down Chinese production, break its supply chains, trigger global panic, and poison China’s image—all without firing a shot.

This is not without precedent. The U.S. has long used disease as a weapon. From the smallpox blankets handed to Indigenous nations, to the CIA’s polio-vaccine psyop in Pakistan, to the rumors of AIDS experiments in Angola and Haiti—epidemics are part of the imperial toolkit. COVID-19 was just the next iteration: engineered not only to kill, but to discredit, to distort, and to destroy faith in the only serious anti-capitalist developmental model of the 21st century.

They weren’t just after China’s GDP—they were after the dream of socialism itself. The same socialism that built hospitals in every province, eradicated extreme poverty, and sent medical brigades to Africa during Ebola. The same socialism that dared to show the world that a post-colonial state could rise from the ruins and outpace the West in health, infrastructure, and education. That is what the empire sought to erase.

And yet, even as death piled up in Italy, in Iran, in New York, the Western press unleashed its own contagion: cognitive warfare. Overnight, Wuhan became synonymous with secrecy. Chinese governance was called “draconian.” Door-to-door testing became “authoritarian.” Their success became a smear campaign. This wasn’t journalism—it was imperialist propaganda, coordinated by the imperialist media apparatus to frame China as the origin of a disaster it had survived far better than its enemies.

To be clear: China didn’t collapse. It contained the virus, stabilized its economy, and sent aid to dozens of countries while the U.S. hoarded ventilators and let bodies pile up in refrigerated trucks. And that’s when the narrative had to shift. The “wet market” fantasy faded. In came the lab leak theory—recycled Cold War projection. Accuse the victim of what you did. Classic imperialist strategy.

But the virus alone wasn’t the endgame. It was the trigger. What followed was a full-spectrum reset of capital’s global infrastructure. The Great Reset, as branded by the World Economic Forum, was sold as a “green” and “equitable” rethinking of capitalism. What it delivered was corporate bailouts, digital surveillance, and the economic euthanasia of the working class. In other words: technofascism.

Under the cover of lockdowns, the ruling class launched an unprecedented class war. Mom-and-pop shops closed. Amazon boomed. Children lost two years of school. CEOs doubled their wealth. Vaccine apartheid spread. The State of Exception became the new normal. And anyone who dared question it—whether socialist or scientist—was banished from public discourse.

All this, we are told, was just policy failure. In truth, it was policy success. The system did exactly what it was built to do: consolidate wealth, digitize control, and destroy any competing vision of modernity. COVID-19 was both pretext and practice for the imperialist recalibration—a desperate move by a decaying hegemon to salvage its supremacy by any means necessary.

But the plan failed. China didn’t fall. The Global South didn’t fracture. BRICS+ expanded. Multipolarity gained traction. The crisis the U.S. unleashed ricocheted back at home—ravaging its infrastructure, deepening its contradictions, and laying bare the obscene cruelty of capitalist healthcare. The Mandemic, rather than resetting imperialism, exposed its decay.

This article is the product of Weaponized Propaganda Excavation. We are not here to debate whether the virus was real. We know it was. Our task is to interrogate how it was used, who benefited, and who paid the price. We will trace the origins, follow the money, decode the propaganda, and expose the full architecture of imperial biowarfare—covert and overt, biological and psychological.

We will show how Fort Detrick was hidden in plain sight. How the World Military Games were erased from the origin story. How Event 201 rehearsed the very future we were forced to live. How the Great Reset was never about saving lives, but about saving capitalism from collapse.

This isn’t conspiracy theory. It’s materialist forensic analysis of an imperial system that has long used covert tools to preserve global dominance. COVID-19 wasn’t an accident. It was a weapon. A final gamble by a dying empire to kneecap its greatest rival and cling to its unraveling world order.

And yet, that weapon misfired. The people are not as blind as they once were. Across the Global South, the working class is connecting the dots. Across the Global North, the façade of “liberal democracy” is cracking. A new consciousness is rising—not in parliaments, but in warehouses, barrios, refugee camps, and digital spaces of defiance.

This article is written for them. For you. For those who suffered not just from a virus, but from the violence of empire masquerading as medicine. Let the ruling class have their press conferences and their commemorative stamps. We have memory. We have clarity. And we have rage. Righteous rage.

This was war. And war demands response.

Let us excavate the evidence. Expose the agents. Unmask the narrative. And prepare—not for the next lockdown, but for revolutionary rupture.
